The play does contain adult situations and language. There is some close physical contact between the characters; some of it is rough.

An unhappy New York actress falls in love with a man who hides his lethal secret profession behind great manners, good looks, sensitivity and understanding. The man of her dreams turns out to be the man of her nightmares. It’s an unlikely love story with a deadly twist. "...a comic look at how ridiculously extreme people can be and how much they will sacrifice for the chance at true love." Variety

Character Descriptions
Maddie:  She is attractive and shapely in a “housewife next door” kind of way - actress who specializes in television commercials for household products; wishes she was more successful as a “real” actress, but not dissatisfied with her life as it has unfolded; briefly appears in Victoria’s Secret brassiere under open blouse; also spends time in handcuffs with feet bound.   (Age: mid 30's)
 
Richard:  He is good looking and fit but not strikingly handsome or muscular – an everyman type; well spoken, reserved and meticulous in dress and manner but not effeminate; actor must be clean shaven as character later dons a fake beard.  (Age: mid 30's to early 40's)
